Wellness Coaches support their clients in their wellness journey towards greater fulfillment in life by working towards peak mental and physical well being.
I will educate you in the fields of Nutrition and Wellness, help you work through barriers that may surface along the way and be your cheerleader and sounding board as you find your inner wisdom that will lead you to a happier and healthier you.
Coaching is not about creating specific diets for clients. We leave that up to Nutritionists. However, coaches do guide clients in regards to finding healthy food choices and if prescribed a specific diet by a nutritionist, how to incorporate the new diet into the clients life effectively. You will not see an article by me discussing the best diet ever (hint: everyone is unique, and therefore, one diet does not fit all…ever) or the supplement everyone should be taking (again: everyone is unique, etc., etc., etc.). I will introduce you to various approaches to eating, as well as other health/nutrition topics, including some cutting edge discoveries regarding the connection between food choices and illnesses.
As with diets, each client’s needs are individual. And you can see from what I have written so far, working on balancing your day to day life outside of simply what you eat is a big part of creating habits that will eventually lead to reaching wellness goals. Stress is often a huge reason people don’t look and feel their very best. As well as the quality of sleep and relationships. These topics and more are explored and addressed as needed.

Down on yourself for not drinking enough water? Do you drink one glass a day? No? Do you own a container to hold water? GREAT! We are on our way towards working towards the habit of hydrating your body. Well-trained Wellness Coaches can find positives in anything, and I do mean ANYTHING!
And the beauty is it’s done at the client’s pace and done in a positive, “let’s build on what’s working” way. Everyone is different, and individual coaching can be the key to long term success for many.
